Based on the South Coast in Lee on the Solent. Covering the areas of Lee on the Solent, Stubbington, Gosport, Fareham and over to Whiteley. With an excellent reputation across the area, we are set to grow the business over the coming years and are looking for a dynamic Lettings Negotiator to join the team and start immediately.

Here at RPS, we work as a team, and provide a personal approach to our clients. Our consultants are trained to deal with both sales and lettings services. Specilising in both sales and lettings makes us stand out as true property experts in the area. RPS other services also include; land finding, new homes sales and property investment representation.

Duties for the Property Consultant role include:

• Dealing promptly with correspondence, telephone calls, emails and face to face meetings with buyers, tenants, sellers and landlords
• Conduct viewings and valuations
• Negotiating offers
• Keep in regular contact with the applicants registered on our database
• Keep informed and pro actively ensure our landlords are kept up to date
• Produce tenancy agreements, conduct move in’s and property inspections (although this will be shared with the Property Maintenance Manager).

The ideal candidate will:

• Ideally have experience in a letting agency.
• Exhibit excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload
• Be able to work under pressure and to client deadlines
• Have an understanding and be able to demonstrate how to attract new business, whilst maintaining existing
• Have great communication skills
• Work well in a tight, hard working team

Must have:

• Full Driving License
• Own Car

The successful applicant can expect a basic salary (DOE), commission, 28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays), expenses and petrol. With realistic OTE of £25,000 Per Annum (uncapped). Additionally we have a voluntary Pension scheme in place.

Hours: Mon – Friday 9am – 6.00pm and every other Saturday (9am – 4pm), day of in lieu when Saturday worked.

Employment Type: Permanent (with three month probation period).
