Guide Price or Offers Between, is the terminology most commonly used by estate agents or sellers wishing to achieve offers between a certain price bracket.
Although this method is pushed by some estate agents, it’s being used less and less.
Guide Prices are usually displayed in this format £320,000 – £340,000 GUIDE PRICE.
Although fairly common, using this form of marketing to achieve a good sale price may not be advantageous. You will often find that a seller has been told to display the price in this format to encourage more interest, with the £320,000 being where the agent feels the price is and the £340,000 being the price that the seller wants. From a buyers point of view, this can be quite misleading.
